謝敏行 Sarah Tse（香港）2009 倫敦藝術大學聖馬丁學院美術及設計學院 畢業。
曾參與 15 次美術展覽，足跡遍及倫敦、曼徹斯特、上海、北京和東京及其他城市。Sarah 的作品主要是繪於紙和牆上的鉛筆畫，以探討逃避現實主義（Theme of escapism）和重排視覺語言（Rearrangement of visual language）為主題。她使用最基本的工具──鉛筆和紙，將由童年記憶、旅行印象和夢境所啟發的矛盾圖像交融碰撞：在黑白的鉛筆世界裏，童話故事中的小鹿斑比走進英式的下午茶杯；土耳其香煙塔裏孕育了性感的玫瑰；憂傷的狸貓走進莫斯科的東正教教堂。大和小，軟和硬，自然與科技，以前與現在，天真與成熟，都呈現在同一個空間。那些圖像浮現一種脆弱、懷舊、永恆但不安的情愫，改變了人們詮釋世界的方式，並建構一個讓人可以逃逸於現實，回到「童年」，並保持純真的世界。幻想與幻滅僅在一線之隔，這種落差被活躍於倫敦的香港當代藝術家謝敏行用鉛筆捕捉起來，成為一幅幅令人驚艷的畫作。 |

Sarah 於 2009 年畢業於倫敦中央聖馬丁美術及設計學院，並已參與逾20逾次美術展覽，足跡遍及紐約、倫敦、曼徹斯特、東京、上海、北京、台北、香港及其他城市。2011 年，敏行更被透視雜誌頒發「40 驕子」，代表亞洲 40 歲以下最具潛質的藝術家之一。作品被英國美術館及華人畫廊收藏。
Sarah 亦利用描繪於牆上的鉛筆畫因新的畫作出現而被刷去的特色，表現繪畫的「童年現象」只能短瞬存在，夢境也是轉瞬即逝的特性，亦是其作品的一個重要主題。是 VG 代理的亞洲年輕藝術家之一。

謝敏行從 2012 年開始嘗試新媒材創作，有別於以往的鉛筆紙本素描。她的創作主題依然充滿了她長期遊歷各地的象徵物，好比異國小動物，各地名勝的縮影。新作仍保有她精細的畫工，蛋彩色調溫暖且新奇讓人感覺欣欣向榮，是這系列新作展現出來的特色。
Sarah 作畫的工具很基本，只有鉛筆，畫紙和牆壁。她的畫作中展現鉛筆筆觸的輕柔脆弱同時也能描繪出嚴肅議題的剛毅。謝敏行的作品探討逃避現實與重新排列的視覺語言。由童年記憶、旅行印象和夢境所啟發的矛盾圖像交融碰撞，創造了一幅福超現實的記憶拼貼。在黑白的鉛筆世界裡，童話故事般跳出來的毛茸茸松鼠；土耳其香煙塔裡孕育出性感的蒲公英；浪漫瑰麗的古董電話鎖住嬌豔的玫瑰。鉛筆畫中 Sarah 以可愛的手法呈現「互置」的樂趣及隱喻。而在彩色的拼貼世界裡，奇幻的意象被轉型成瘋狂的縱情。犀利，鋒銳的語氣讓拼貼畫以直接，大膽，過份清楚且毫無隱瞞的方式與觀者對話。 如果說鉛筆畫作是「美」，拼貼畫即「醜」並不為過。只是美醜在 Sarah 的世界裡是詮釋的手法而不是結果。她所要表達的沒有改變。 雖然心痛，雖然可惜，謝敏行仍熱愛在牆上作畫。鉛筆的輕淡與牆壁的厚實傳體現出巨大的差異與矛盾, 撼動人心。畫在牆上的鉛筆畫更會因新的畫作的出現而被刷去使繪畫只能暫時的存在，傳達了世事轉瞬即逝的特性，亦是她作品的一個重要主題。 |

Sarah Tse is a Chinese born New York based artist, graduated at Central Saint Martins College in London in 2009. Sarah developed a unique visual language with pencil and watercolour on an unconventional surface of paper and wood. Her fantasy evolved to incorporate animals, antique machines, erotic plants and narrative tropes from classical mythology and folk tales. Loneliness, Religious belief and escapism are thematic signposts in many of Sarah's work. Sarah has exhibited in New York, London, Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, etc
